James joined Lomond in March 2026 as Group People Director, responsible for shaping and scaling the group’s people strategy as the business continues its rapid growth across the UK.

With over 15 years’ experience, James has held multiple senior People leadership roles across financial services, health tech, advertising, media and retail. During his career he has worked with organisations including WPP, John Lewis & Partners, Sainsbury's and most recently HeliosX, supporting high-growth and complex organisations to scale their teams, strengthen organisational infrastructure and deliver sustainable performance.

At Lomond, James works closely with the executive team and regional leaders to build the organisational capability required to support continued growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions. His focus is on developing a high-performing culture, strengthening leadership capability and ensuring the group attracts and retains the talent needed to support Lomond’s long-term ambitions.
