Homesure is a well-established name in Liverpool’s property market, operating from three city locations with a 30-strong team managing more than 1,700 properties across Liverpool and its surrounding areas. The business serves a sizeable market both geographically and in terms of growth potential, positioning Lomond to capitalise on one of the UK’s most dynamic regional rental sectors.

Founded in 2007 by Steven Kenny, Homesure grew steadily under the leadership of Kenny, Nick Stott, and Mark Loughnane, expanding organically and through five acquisitions since 2016. The business has built a strong reputation based on integrity, client care and continuous improvement - values that align closely with Lomond’s own ethos.

Homesure also specialises in supporting overseas investors drawn to Liverpool’s thriving property market, bolstered by the region’s strong sporting culture and proximity to both Manchester and Cheshire. The leadership team brings the practical insight and a client-first approach that has earned Homesure its trusted reputation.

Under Lomond’s ownership, Homesure will continue to operate under its existing brand, becoming the new regional hub in Liverpool, with oversight from Paul Clarke, Lomond’s Chief Revenue Officer for the Midlands and the North West. The acquisition strengthens Lomond’s presence in the North West, joining its growing family of regionally respected brands. Homesure will continue to be led by the existing leadership team, with Nick Stott and Mark Loughnane remaining in place alongside the wider staff. Clients and partners will experience continuity across all frontline operations, and the same Homesure approach they are accustomed to.

Leadership Perspectives

Paul Clarke, Regional Chief Revenue Officer, Lomond

“Lomond’s model of identifying exceptional businesses and preserving what makes them unique, while providing powerful behind-the-scenes support and additional benefits to staff and clients, will be showcased perfectly through Homesure. I’m excited to see the team continue to thrive as part of the Group.”

Mark Loughnane, Company Director, Homesure

“Nick and I are incredibly proud of the journey Homesure has taken so far. Our ethos, values and commitment to clients remain at the heart of everything we do.  And crucially, that isn’t changing: Homesure is still Homesure. With Lomond’s backing, we’re ideally positioned to help clients navigate the new legislative landscape and continue to deliver outstanding service.”

Nick Stott, CEO, Homesure

“This partnership with Lomond is a win-win, for our clients, who will benefit from enhanced support and an expanded range of services, and for our team, who will gain career opportunities and resources, all while continuing to run the business with the same leadership and principles that have driven our success since 2007.”

Ed Phillips, Group Chief Executive of Lomond

“Liverpool is a strategically important market for Lomond, and Homesure is exactly the kind of business we look to partner with: strong local roots, a respected team and values that closely align with our own. Their consistent growth and client-first approach make them an excellent fit for the Group, and we’re pleased to support the team as they continue to build on the solid foundations already in place.”
