The Renters' Rights Bill completed the Committee Stage on Tuesday 5 November 2024, and we now await the date for the Report Stage. This is the next opportunity for all MPs to consider further proposals to change the Bill. During the Committee Stage, there have been few changes from the UK Government, and no non-government amendments were accepted by the Minister for Housing and Planning, Matthew Pennycook MP.

In our continued quest to support property agents to adapt, Timothy Douglas, Propertymark's Head of Policy and Campaigns, Jan Hÿtch PPNAEA, FARLA, FNAVA, who heads up the Propertymark Helplines and Southern England Regional Executive Valerie Bannister PPARLA will outline the changes and Propertymark's ongoing lobbying and where we go next.
